There is no philosopher who is not a Poet ( Na rishi kavih )
So he was a world class philosopher and poet, aware that the Lord had made him suffer, despite him being a scholar ! He had lived laborious days,yet the Lord made him bear the cross. He had studied hard, studied every portion of the Bible. He was blind and his life was immense suffering. So was Tasso's. So was Dante's.
Every Thesis has an Anti Thesis and handling both arguments is called the Dialectical Process. All lawyers know this, all politicians as well as Rishies.
Charvaka was a Rishie, yet an atheist. There is no God in Buddhism, yet it is a formidable system. Atheism, Agnosticism ( Buddhism ) etc adorn Indian Philosophy. A Hindu can be an athiest, he can be an agnostic, he can be a Shoonyavadi ( Buddhist ) or a Poornavadi ( Vedantin ) without being excommunicated like in other civilisations. This is the broadmindedness of Indian Philosophy.
The sloka Yada vairanubandhena is not made by me, but by a Rishie called Narada, who was a Bhaktha !

Inimical Mysticism
Hatred is inverse Love. This is the rationale of Vidwesha Bhakthi or Inimical Mysticism.
The doctrine of Inimical Mysticism is that the Lord is the doer and the devotee has his rights to question the Lord when he subjects his devotee to suffering !
Yada vairanubhandena martyasthanmayamapi tat
Na tadha bhakti yogena, iti me nischita mati
Not even Bridal Mysticism can get the benign effects of Inimical Mysticism. It is said that Kamsa and Ravana got Moksha earlier than the Yogis who extolled him. In hatred there is more emotional attachment than in love. Kamsa and Ravana were always thinking about their Grand Enemy. That is what the Yogis were contemplating, as they contemplated Being Knowledge Bliss !
Milton began the Paradise Lost by saying
That I may assert Eternal Providence
And justify the ways of God to man !
But then his famous statements through Satan were " It is better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven" and "Eternity so spent in worship paid, to whom we hate". Satan became the unconscious hero of Paradise Lost and Milton could not redeem God with Paradise Regained ! The voice of Satan was Milton's own, craving for liberty and abhorring the absolute monarchy of God !

Bridal Mysticism is the greatest !
Since the Essence of Beauty is Thee
And Self Actualisation comes effortlessly
In Mysticism Bridal, as Love is all in all !
Evam Bhothathaya hi bhakti bi hitho
Yoga sa yoga dwayal
Karma Jnana dwayath bhrisothamatharo
Yogeeswarayair geeyathe
Soundarasya rasatmake thava khalu prema prakarshatmika
Bhaktir nisramameva vishva purushair
Labhya rama vallabha !
Work is worship, duty is divine
One duty is one's Yog !
This be the rationale of Karma Yog
But its effect is distant and far !
Deeply subtle are thoughts Upanishadic
Vedanta is difficult to study
The Absolute Self is inconceivable
By finite and defining Mind !
Philosophic principles like
I Absolute AM, I AM that I AM
Only reality is Self
Are difficult to comprehend !
Hence the most practical
And the noblest
Is unalloyed love for Thee
Which is Bridal Mysticism
Where Self is the lover, Self is the Bride !
Nishkamam niyatha swa dharma charanam
Yath Karma Yogabhidam
Thad doorethya phalam Yadaupanishada
Jnanam cha labhyam puna
Thathva avyakthata sudurga macharam
Chithasya thasmath vibho
Thvat Prematmaka bhaktireva sathatham
Swadeeyasi sreyasi !

All is best !
We have to understand that the Goal of Life is Self-Actulisation and that everything happens for the best.
All is best
Though we oft doubt
Of the unsearchable dispose
Of Highest Wisdom brings about ! ( Milton )
There is a story regarding this principle.
Once there was a king and a minister. The minister was full of Wisdom and used to say that all is best. Once the King lost his finger, when he was cutting fruits with a knife. The minister then said all is best. The King was infurious and put the minister in jail.
The King went out for hunting. Some aborigines caught him and they were about to sacrifice him before their Deity. Then they noted that he was fingerless. They let him go, saying that it is against their rule to sacrifice a fingerless man.
The King thought about what the minister said. He went to his kingdom and let the minister out of jail.
The minister then told him that it was good that he was jailed. If not, he would have gone with the King for hunting and he would have been sacrificed.
Both the King and the minister became renunciants later on and attained to Self Actulisation !

The Vaitharani River
Life is full of difficulties. Life is difficult, Life is Suffering, said Buddha.
This Life which is full of difficulties was symbolised by the Seer-Poets as the Vaitharani River. It is a river which moves death-ward. Life moves death-ward.
Yamadware maha ghore taptha vaitharanee nadee
This ferocious river, moving death-ward, is fearsome to behold. It is full of thorns and difficult it is to transcend !
By the Grace of Wisdom and Love Divine only can you transcend this awesome river !
